Whether you like to mountain bike along dirt roads through the vast forests surrounding Moosehead Lake or you prefer to stay on our paved scenic byways, there is plenty to see and do while biking. We would be happy to rent bikes for you and have them ready and waiting for you at Blair Hill Inn.

The Moosehead Lake region offers spectacular hiking. There are more than a dozen exceptional hikes in the area that offer well marked, well worn trails with lake and forest vistas sure to thrill. From a leisurely 30 minute hike to an isolated mountain pond on Little Moose Mountain to an all day hike into Gulf Hagaas the ‘Little Grand Canyon’ of Maine there is a hike for you. We are happy to provide you with an area Hiking Guide upon your arrival and discuss the type of hike you would enjoy most.
Go ATV riding. Enjoy the thrill of the region’s many backwoods ATV trails. Half day and full day rentals are available and guided trips are also an option. Advance reservations are required.
