Considered inland Maine’s finest dining destination, Blair Hill Inn is the choice for a truly wonderful evening out.  Known for its stunning landscape and soaring views of Moosehead Lake, this enchanting setting is second to none.

Dinner here is the perfect balance of fine dining and a gracious, familiar atmosphere void of pretense. Each weekend it is as if the innkeepers were throwing a wonderful dinner party for friends. Tables are set with the warmest of luxuries and a welcomed bit of whimsy. Enjoy a glass of fine wine or a cocktail served on the veranda overlooking crystal waters and weathered mountains.  Soft sounds of jazz float off with the breeze as you realize this is no ordinary place.

This sensual setting is the canvas for Executive Chef Scott Johnson’s highly acclaimed five-course, prix-fix menus. The menus change weekly to reflect the seasons, Maine's freshest produce available and the whims of Chef Johnson. Courses are decidedly light and flavorful using the ripest ingredients from the Inn’s gardens and greenhouse and local organic farmers.  The hallmark of the inn’s cuisine is the indoor Aztec wood burning grill.  Chef Johnson believes cooking with wood is essential to the authenticity of his craft.  From locally farm raised venison to fresh Maine lobster, the wood fired grill brings out flavors no other cooking method produces.

Our five-course meals are offered at $55 per person. Please note that our dining room is open to both our guests and the public each Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings only. We would be happy to assist our guests with reservations at other restaurants during the week.
