Breakfast Menu


A full breakfast, served each morning, is included in your room rate.
Awake to the smell of freshly ground coffee and delicious baked goods! A selection of juices, specialty teas, fruit smoothies or homemade carrot juice are a popular start to the day followed by a fruit course such as;


~ broiled grapefruit topped with warm, Maine blueberries

~ chilled canteloupe & peach soup with lemon zest

~ poached pear stuffed with mascarpone and drizzled with raspberry coulis


Entrees are generous and delicious, designed to fuel you for the day's activities. You may be served;


~ spicy Maine crab cake eggs benedict

~ French toast smothered with caramelized bananas & toasted coconut

~ a garden frittata of 'just snipped' vegetables bubbling in artisan cheese

~ cornmeal pancakes with lemon-sage brown butter

~ poached scrambled eggs with goat cheese sauce & flowering rosemary


Side dishes include oven-roasted potatoes, bacon, sausages, home baked muffins and pastries.


If you'd prefer lighter morning fare, there is always a 'healthy choice' option such as oatmeal with berries, house-made granola & soy milk, or fresh egg white omlette.

Local, hand-churned butter and organic eggs are delivered every few days and produce from our gardens are picked each morning to ensure that the freshest ingredients are on hand.
















 

 

 

 

Our hot, full breakfast is served from 8:00 - 9:00 am in the charming cafe porch at individual tables set for two.  Need to head out for an early activity or to catch a plane?  Simply let us know and a continental breakfast will be ready for you.  Sleepy?  Continental breakfast is available until 10:00 am.  Special dietary needs are accomodated. Advance notification is helpful.
